Monthly Beauty Tops And Flops

I always struggle to find the right introduction to this kind of post. I mean let's be honest, empties reviews aren't the deepest blog posts you will find on the world wide web. However I decide over and over again to continue writing this kind of review because we girls put so much products in our face and on our body, and I think we all deserve to know which ones will do us good and which ones won't - before spending a little fortune on them. Don't you agree?

SEPHORA Bubble Bath And Shower Gel 'Cotton Flower'

The cotton flower shower gel in the typical Sephora packaging was part of this year's Christmas collection which was all pink and glittery. Not the most usual Christmas colour combo, but also not the typical Christmas scent. Cotton flower does indeed smell cottony, soft and not too sweet. Perfect for all who prefer a more neutral shower gel scent. The only downer for me is the packaging, which is not really handy and furthermore broke on the sides.

BENEFIT Fake Up 02 Medium

I got this small size conditioner in a Benefit Advent calendar years ago and even though it's only a few grams of product it literally took me years to use it up. The concealer consists of two layers, one for the colour and one for the care. However I didn't notice much of the care to be honest. Furthermore I found it rather difficult to apply on the under eye area, as the consistency is quite solid. Last but not least the shade medium was - of course - too dark for my skin. All in all I would rather recommend it as a light cover up stick and not so much as an under eye concealer.

LUSH Snow Fairy Body Conditioner

I did a review about one of Lush's in-shower body conditioners not long ago in this post. I already told you that these body conditioners are much more moisturising than those that you can get in drug stores. The snow fairy furthermore has 3 other huge advantages: 1. It is pink 2. It contains a load of tiny shimmery glitter 3. It smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. So that's a big thumbs up!

HELENA RUBINSTEIN Lash Queen Feline Blacks 01 Black Black

I got this mascara as a sample so I didn't expect much and indeed it turned out to be a mascara for not so important days. It gives no volume whatsoever and isn't even 'black black' like the name suggests.

BIODERMA Sensibio H20 Make-up Removing Micelle Solution for sensitive skin

Lately I've been trying quite a few micellar waters as it turned out I have much less breakouts when I clean my skin only with them. So I have tried Garnier, Yves Rocher and this one from Bioderma, which is definitely my favourite of all. It leaves the cleanest feeling on the skin and it isn't full of perfume. I highly suggest you to give micellar water cleansing a try if you have problematic or dry skin.

BATH & BODY WORKS Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Deep Cleansing Hand Soap

I love to bring home beauty products from my holidays, especially if they're not available in Luxembourg. I had already heard about Bath & Body Works on blogs and social media, so I had to give the brand a try when I was in the US last summer. This hand soap doesn't only smell divine, but is also deep cleansing and caring thanks to ingredients such as Aloe Vera. Plus the brand is not tested on animals.

What products have you been loving lately?
