The 5 Kenzo x H&M Pieces I Might Actually Buy

Kenzo x H&M Collaboration Lookbook revealed

The full lookbook of H&M's latest designer coup is out and it reveals that the collection created by the Parisian fashion house Kenzo might be more wearable than the first campaign photos suggested after all. In case you don't remember, the first photos the world got to see of Kenzo x H&M featured a catsuit style combo of tiger print pants and pullovers in red and blue, combined with pink tiger print boots. Even though I am pretty sure that we'll be seeing these boots on Instagram more than we'd actually like to, I don't think that this whole tiger print thing will appeal to the masses. But luckily there's this other side of the collaboration that is still really colourful but has this dreamy boho-latina-folklore touch with a modern twist. Due to the colours and cuts most clothes can be worn both in winter and summer so investing in one of these pieces might not be so stupid after all. In a world where I'd have way more zeroes on my bank account, I would go for the following 5 pieces:

1. The Colourful Folklore Dress

The dress in the photo above is my favourite from this collaboration. Of course you have to imagine it without the ugly green sweater underneath. Instead I suggest you imagine it with black tights and some cute boots. Maybe also with some statement earrings and a bright lip if you're more daring. Wouldn't that make a unique winter look?

2. The Plush Bomber Jacket

Bomber jackets are still a thing so why not opt for this warmer version that shouldn't be too hard to combine thanks to its basic colour combo.

3. The Flower Power Combo

I've always been a sucker for belly blouses and the combination with a high waist skirt makes them actually wearable for people with a not so perfect body. I also really like the ruffles and pattern of this blouse, even though the combo might only be for hardcore flower print lovers.

4. The Off-The-Shoulder Blouse

Even though I am not quite sure about the pattern, I really like the cut of this blouse. The off-the-shoulder + long sleeve combo makes it really trendy, the peplum detail gives it a romantic touch, and the loose fit is quite flattering.

5. The Ruffled Slip Dress

Silky slip dresses are a thing right now, but they are mostly to be seen on minimal outfit lovers. This black ruffle dress with a decent print would be a nice change for once and can perfectly be worn over a white t-shirt, too.

Will you be queuing up on November 3rd or haven't your found a favourite yet? You can see the whole collection on hm.com.
