So far I didn't get the chance to show you this safari dress that I bought along with a pencil skirt and a bell blouse at Target this summer. However you could already see me wearing it at 35°C in this Instagram photo. Today however, you will get my autumnal version of styling a green midi dress. One of the most common colours to wear with this khaki green has got to be beige, but in winter I prefer to combine it with black for a slightly mysterious look. A black blazer is always a good way to suit up summer dresses. For the autumnal touch I added beige boots, even though they don't go perfectly well with this dress cut. A higher, sleeker boot would have been the better option, but you gotta work with what's in your closet! And finally I chose to add a golden vintage necklace that I got from my mother, because green and gold are a winning combo.
How do you like to make your summer dresses fit for autumn? Also check out how I wear my off-the-shoulder flower dress on colder days here.
