Here we go again! I'm back from the US and, first things first, I want to thank you all so much for leaving the cutest comments under my last post and on Instagram. Some of you even gave me recommendations on what to do in the different cities I've been visiting so also thanks a million for that! I know you are eagerly waiting for detailed travel posts here on the blog, and they will definitely be coming! It's just that I took too many pictures to edit them all in two days, but the first post is planned for Friday so make sure to check back then if you're into some major US travel tips! For now I chose a post topic that is not totally detached from my holidays though... I didn't manage to shoot outfit pictures in the US (shame on me!) but I got some pretty awesome clothes over there. So when my fiancé and I went to see Suicide Squad yesterday, he kindly took some pictures of me in these rad WhoWhatWear for Target pieces.
I had heard so many good things about Target, which is America's second largest discount retailer, so obviously I had to go and check it out in the US. As Target often teams up with designers I had a stroll through their clothing section to discover that they have a collection in collaboration with the celebrity, fashion and street style blog WhoWhatWear. I immediately grabbed a shopping cart (XXL of course, because America) and started piling up clothes. I think I entered the changing rooms with 14 pieces or so, and ended up buying 3 for a total of around 100$. I would probably have taken even more clothes if they would have had all of them in my size!
The collection is basically a gathering of this year's casual chic trends, from safari dresses, over to flared jeans. You can't imagine how long I've been looking for a bell sleeve blouse and a nice pencil skirt here in Europe, only to find both at a stroke at this American discounter. I also purchased a lovely midi dress in the same green as this pencil skirt (which is already my favourite colour for fall 2016). You can spot it here on my Instagram account.
With this khaki green, which we'll be seeing a lot next season, we also finally get an excuse to wear golden jewellery again, which goes really well with this earthy colour. How good that I came home to this cute double gold ring from Drew & Co. The brand is all about minimal jewellery that can be worn by day and night. The ring I chose is made of 925 silver plated with 18k gold and has two zirconia stones. The quality looks really amazing and I would never have guessed that this ring only costs 21€! In fact all items in the shop are under 30€ so it's worth having a look at the collection here if you're a lover of minimal jewellery in gold, rose gold and silver.
