As I'm writing this I'm a bit in a hurry as I spent too much time posting stories on Snapchat this afternoon. Yes, I'm giving the app another try. I'm still not super comfortable in front of the camera, and I will surely only use Snapchat when I actually have something to tell! So if you speak Luxembourgish or simply want to hear someone talk a language you've never heard then you can either scan the snapcode in my sidebar or find me under 'clothesncamera'. Anyway this week's 'What's Up?' post can easily be summed up with Disney and beauty. Not the worst two topics, right?
# Collaboration: Paris 8
I was asked by the perfumery Paris 8 to work with them on a little project, which I'm really excited about! Yesterday we finally met to finalize it all but unfortunately I can't tell you more until it's released. However if you follow me on Snapchat you will have seen that the project involved a little makeup session with Bobbi Brown... Any guesses what the collaboration could be about?
# Store Opening: L'Oréal at McArthurGlen
L'Oréal and some of the brands belonging to the L'Oréal group (like Garnier, Essie and Maybelline New York) are among my all time favourite beauty brands. That's why I was pretty pleased to hear about the L'Oréal store that opened in the McArthurGlen outlet in Messancy, close to the Luxembourgish border. I wasn't sure whether the beauty products would also be sold at outlet prizes, but they are! Which means that in this store you can get Essie nail polish for under 4€ and make a lot of other good deals, too!
# Designer Collaboration: Disney x Coach
The creator of our favourite childhood memories and the traditional American clothing label have teamed up for a fun collection. Since this week you can shop the most fun pop bags with your friend Mickey on them. The bag below is my absolute favourite (and available in red, brown and yellow, too!). Oh and if you're not into bags you might wanna look out for the Mickey sneakers or leather jacket.
# Editorial: Through The Looking Glass
I'm not sure what to think about Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland movie (except that it's definitely less creepy than the animatic!). That's why I didn't give the sequel 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' a go yet. However I love everything that is Alice in Wonderland inspired, be it fashion, parties or beauty products. No wonder that I immediately fell in love with this photo series by Margaret Zhang. If you don't know her yet you should absolutely check out her blog as she is a really inspiring person. Being able to write texts about fashion like she does is one big goal in my life. But as you can see here, she's extremely talented when it comes to photography as well!
