What's Up? #2

fashion events news luxembourg

Lately I've been feeling like the weeks are flying by super quickly and I don't think this will change in June as I have appointments and events about every other day. There are some really exciting collaborations coming my way plus I'm currently making plans to attend the Berlin Fashion Week at the end of this month. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it...! But first let's have a look at what has been going on fashion and blogging wise last week:

# Outfit: Fleur de Mode x Net-A-Porter

I've been following Hristina's blog for years as I love both her personal style and the photos she takes. This editorial in collaboration with Net-A-Porter however, has got to be her best outfit post yet. You can find all the photos on her blog

# Fashion Made in Luxembourg: Cressance Runway

As you know I'm really interested in discovering the collections of Luxembourgish designers, which is why I thought I'd know all of the local brands. However a few weeks ago I saw the advertisement for a fashion show by a brand called Cressance. I hadn't seen any of their clothes so I was particularly eager to see what they would present on the runway. The show took place in the Cercle Cité in Luxembourg city, one of the most glamorous buildings of our country. It was indeed a great location for a fashion show as it perfectly matched the elegant dresses and gowns presented by Cressance. Unfortunately I didn't really fall for the collection and the show was far from being able to keep up with international standards. However this one dress has got to be one of the prettiest evening gowns I've seen in a long time!

# Store Opening: Kiko in Liège

I don't think I've been asked more questions about a beauty than about Kiko. Be it followers or friends: Everybody seems to love the Italian cosmetics brand. As you might know Kiko nail polishes are my all time favourites and I'm even wearing one of their shades on my nails right now. That's why I will exceptionally not talk about a store opening in Luxembourg but in Belgium. This week a Kiko store opened in Liège. That makes it the closest Kiko for everyone who lives north of Luxembourg city and thus also interesting news for people in Luxembourg. Liège is a great city for shopping anyway and easily reachable by train. Who's in for a little city trip?

# Press Feature: Femmes Magazine

Femmes Magazine, the Luxembourgish women's illustrated, offered some bloggers to team up with them for monthly contributions to their magazine. This week the second issue with our small feature came out. It's always fun to see yourself in a magazine, even if it's just a photo. You can read the whole issue here. (And find all my press features here.)

# OOTD: Vintage Denim Jacket

The weather has been horrible lately so I didn't even think of taking proper outfit pictures. However I managed to take a snap of my only presentable outfit this week, which I wore on Thursday to a Thomas Sabo event and the Cressance fashion show. I've already been wearing this vintage denim jacket in my 90s outfit and I really think it will become my favourite summer companion.
