Some months ago I introduced you to the beauty parlour "Institut de Beauté Aromas" by the lovely Audrey. I have already told you about the tasteful interior, which you can now finally see on some photos. You might also remember that Audrey works with products of some internationally popular brands, such as Kiko, Pupa, I Love... Cosmetics, and more. This week I finally went back to the Aromas Institut for a treatment I have never tried before: A lash and eyebrow tint!Even though it's not a big deal, I had a few concerns before the treatment. As I have sensitive eyes I was afraid the dye would harm them, but it turned out that the products Audrey used can't be compared to hair dye at all. Also I didn't want my eyebrows to look like two black bars but Audrey rightly advised me to try a brown tint so the result wouldn't look too extreme.
Scroll down to see the result and learn more about the dyeing process...
The colour of my eyebrows seems a bit reddish, just like that of my hair. Towards the edges my eyebrows aren't really visible on the photo. They also don't have a really defined shape. My lashes are pretty light.
My eyebrows are darker but still look really natural. They look more bulky and have a defined shape. My lashes are slightly darker. All in all my expression looks fresher and more awake.
The dyeing treatment went by quickly and gently. After putting some patches under my eyes, Audrey applied the tint on my lashes and then on my eyebrows. The dyeing product didn't smell bad and also didn't burn in my eyes or on my skin. The waxing of my eyebrows didn't take long either and wasn't too painful. The resulting redness stayed for several hours so I wouldn't recommend it right before and important event.
All in all I'm really satisfied with the result of the eyebrows. As the dye will only stay on for about three weeks, I wouldn't repeat the treatment regularly, but it could be a nice thing to do before going on holidays. The treatment normally costs 20€.
If there is any other treatment you'd like to try me in Audrey's parlour, feel free to leave your suggestion in the comments!
