A few weeks ago I've been discussing with some friends about how important it is to leave your space from time to time to not feel so constrained and refuel on inspiration. And that's exactly what I did last weekend. On Saturday I took the train to Brussels to visit my friend and fellow blogger Claude who studies there. I've never been in the Belgian capital but it had been on my must-see list for ages. Besides some sightseeing in between, we had mainly planned fashion and blogging related activities though. On Saturday we went to the Brussels Fashion Days to see the fashion show organised by the Belgian Elle. Even though the show wasn't quite as impressing as the one in Arlon, it was super interesting to see some more Belgian designers, among them also world-famous ones such as Diane von Fürstenberg. After the show we shortly had a look at the various side activities of the Fashion Days, such as the pop-up store or the L'Oreal and MAC hair and makeup booths. According to Claude the Brussels Fashion Days have much improved since last year so I'm curious for the next edition.
Sunday was all dedicated to blogging stuff. First Claude and I shot some outfit pictures for our blogs. I had decided to wear my pinafore dress again, which this time I combined with a cute blouse and more elegant shoes. Afterwards we headed to the meeting of We Are The Models as they wanted to shoot a video for their crowdfunding campaign. It was really nice to meet some Belgian bloggers for once and I can't wait to see the video of us goofing around.
After this inspiring weekend I was happy to take the train back home with another fellow Luxembourgish blogger Christine. This first visit to Brussels surely wasn't my last and next time I will surely also take more shots of this pretty city.
