Beauty Empties August

8x4 Modern Charme Orange Blossom Jasmine Rose 24h deodorant

The 8x4 range has some really nice scents and this one was really pleasant, too. The deodorant is free of aluminium salts but therefor it made me cough really badly whenever I used it. Not a good sign at all so I probably won't repurchase it.

EBELIN beauty blender

When this beauty blender hype started I thought I should join in, too but in fact I didn't use the blender much. After all I still prefer to apply my foundation with the fingers. Apart from that I liked to use the sponge to soften the contours around my face. After more than one year of having it, it started crumbling when I recently wanted to use it. I don't think it was a bad purchase though, as these Ebelin blenders are quite cheap.

MAYBELLINE Fit Me! Liquid Foundation 115

The Fit Me range from Maybelline is my favourite one for foundation and powder so I've been sticking to this makeup for years. Compared to other brands it isn't too expensive and I love that they have so many shades to choose from. The bottle lasted me for one year as you really don't need much to cover your whole face.

MAX FACTOR Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara black

I've heard many people rave about Max Factor mascaras and I must agree: This mascara was the best I had so far! It makes my lashes deep black and super voluminous for a really dramatic effect. Unfortunately the formula isn't really gentle and can be quite irritating when you have sensitive eyes or are wearing contact lenses.

GIORGIO ARMANI Perfection Eye Make Up Remover

I really don't know what's going on with these high end products but they never manage to satisfy me. Honestly I've had equally good or even better makeup removers from Garnier or Maybelline so I'm gonna stick to those.

TODAY Aloe Vera shaving gel

I can really recommend this product to anybody who is looking for budget friendly but yet gentle shaving gels. The brand is available at several German supermarkets.

  1. The hype around beauty blenders is huge right now, I still use my fingers to apply foundation, but I do love how easy it is to blend concealer on the under eye area with the blender!

    1. Never tried the blender under the eyes I think but it sounds worth a try ;) Did you know they even have body blenders for tanning lotion by now? Crazy, right?

    1. Fingers is still the easiest way I think and I guess tools such as a blender are just a waste of product because so much of the foundation stays on them and not on your face.
