Mirrow - This App Tells You What To Wear

Mirrow clothing what to wear personal stylist app

If you're reading this and you're female you surely already had this "I don't know what to wear" moment at least once in your life. I'm having it about every day but I only really care when I'm going to an important event or when I know I want to take pictures for the blog. As you can't go out and buy something new whenever you think you don't have anything to wear, it's all about combining the clothes you already have in a new and exciting way. But the more clothes you have, the harder it gets to stay on top of things. And that's where this app comes in quite handy.
Mirrow can be understood as your personal stylist as it doesn't only allow you to categorise your whole wardrobe, but also tells you what to wear, depending on the weather in your region! But business before pleasure: You'll have to start off by taking pictures of all of your clothes and accessories and classifying them. Depending on your closet this may take at least a whole afternoon (which is why I'm totally not done yet).

First of all you upload the picture of your garment or accessory and determine its colours. Next you can choose the part of the body and the exact garment (with lots of subcategories where you'll also have to state the sleeve length or neckline).

As soon as you've finished you'll have a nice overview of all of your garments and accessories and I find the simplistic design with the round pictures quite appealing which makes it even more fun to use the app. In order to choose an outfit you click on the mirror button in the middle and the app will find out the outdoor temperate and ask you if you want to be dressed according to the weather or a little warmer/lighter. And if you're having enough pieces in your closet the app will give you several outfit suggestions which you can modify and save. The app has also a socialising aspect as you'll be able to look through the accounts and outfits of other users, which may again encourage inspiration.
So far I had to modify the suggested outfits a bit as I haven't put up my whole wardrobe yet but if you manage to hang on and classify all of your clothes, Mirrow will make you life a lot easier!
P.S.: Talking about apps... Do you already know the My Little App by My Little Paris? It's available in French or English and comes with daily fashion, beauty of lifestyle surprises!

DISCLAIMER: This app is now called "Cluise".

  9. looks like a lovely app ! I'll absolutely give it a try although I have tried a bunch of similar apps already and I was obsessed with them at the beggining but then I just stoped using them somehow.

  11. I like the concept, it actually sounds quite intriguing that an app could tell me what to wear according to predetermined dressing standards/tips (of which i don't really know much about haha). I'd love to try it just for the sake of it, however I can't possibly take the time and photograph my entire wardrobe as you said, that is sadly an issue.

    1. Maybe we should take a few pics a day, like always just of the pieces we're wearing that day. But I'm even to lazy for that or forget about it x'D
