Okay, okay, I know winter isn't quite over yet. I mean we still had snow here this week and will probably be getting some more. But it's never too early to think about the next season so today I wanna get you in the mood for spring with lovely pastels. Thinking about two nail polish colours for spring, I picked the same ones that I adored last year, namely orange and lilac. I still don't get over how Essie's "Tart Deco" is flashy and pastel at the same time. Definitely a shade that will make your nails stand out. The pastel lilac (p2 "Sweet Darling") on the other hand is quite decent but therefor super versatile.
Fortunately I didn't have to decide which shade to wear first as they are the perfect combination for the manicure which I wanted to show you today. Lately I've been having lots of simplistic manicures and hardly ever combined two nail polishes but I guess this manicure perfectly allows you to wear 3 different shades and yet make it look neat and pretty. It's the golden nail polish that gets put on top and gives your nails an interesting yet matching twist. Again I've been working with sticky tape but if you have a steady hand you can also try it freestyle. As always the success of your nail art stands and falls with the quality of your nail polish so it bears repeating that Essie nail polishes definitely are worth the money. For a cheaper alternative however I can really just recommend the German brand p2!
