Oh là là, there have been so many events going on in Luxembourg the last few weeks! You probably think I spend all of my free time at parties and events... Well not quite but I won't deny how spoilt I've been by several brands lately!
Yesterday evening Paris 8, the only perfumery originating in Luxembourg, organised a special event to celebrate their store relaunch. Surprisingly Paris 8 also invited some bloggers and I was among the lucky ones. After a warm welcome the general manager Ann showed us around and explained the changes they've shortly been doing to the look of the store. Via the relaunch they try to aim at a younger clientele which is also one of the reasons why they want to work with us bloggers in the future. It was pretty interesting to hear about all the concepts that are behind the look of a simple perfumery!
During the soirée we could stop by several booths. For example we had the possibility to get a flacon engraved (a service Paris 8 offers every few weeks), to enjoy a hand or back massage or to get our makeup done at the Bobbi Brown counter. Oh and talking about Bobbi Brown: Did you know Paris 8 is the only official retailer of Bobbi Brown cosmetics in Luxembourg? Also a nice idea of the perfumery staff: a booth where you could associate rose based perfumes with rose scented food like Ladurée's rose macarons or rose chocolate. Besides from this single delicious macaron we were also offered canapés by Oberweis (and the prettiest cakepops I've seen in my whole life even though we left at the minute where they were served, *sigh*).
It was a surprisingly well-made soirée and I really can't wait to work with Paris 8 in the future. Thanks to the product manager Anne-Shophie for inviting us, thanks to Paris 8 for the warm welcome and the amazing goodie bag and thanks to one of the sales assistants for making me discover a new perfume crush (Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb!).
