As I told you I went shopping with my mum yesterday and I was really happy to find this beautiful striped skirt which has been on my wish list for ages. You can currently find it at H&M for just 24,95€ and I think it looks super precious. I really like its versatility as it can make you look elegant, fashion-conscious, girly,... whatever you like. That's also the reason why I can totally recommend to all of you getting a similar skirt, you really won't regret it! In order to show you that it's a wardrobe classic I thought about my three favorite ways of combining it and I really can't wait to actually wear all three looks.
#1 The Business Look
The high quality of the cloth and the modern yet proper length and cut of the skirt make it the perfect basis of a classy business look. Simply add a long sheer blouse and high heels or any other matching pieces you would normally wear to work.
blouse - Vero Moda, bag - Guess, heels - Maison Martin Margiela x H&M, necklace - Laurèl
#2 The Parisian Look
When I first tried the skirt on I wore the ballet flats which you can see in the picture below and I immediately had to think about Parisian girls. Add a "little black jacket" and some playful accessories and your French look is parfait!
jacket - 3Suisses, flower bag - Primark, ballet flats - H&M, charm bracelet - Thomas Sabo
#3 The Casual Look
Despite the skirt's elegance the stripes still have a casual character so if you want to keep it simple you just slip on a t-shirt and a trench and you're ready to leave the house. Add strap heels for a casual chic look or maybe even rain boots for a totally relaxed and fun outfit.
necklace - Isabel Marant pour H&M, trench - Primark, kitten heels - Zara
Have you guys bought your striped skirt yet? Which look do you prefer and think I should pull off first? Have you other ideas on how to combine this versatile skirt?
