As you can see I used up quite a few beauty products this month. The products are really variegated so there could be something interesting for all of you. Again I have products which I liked a lot (even a few favourites) but also products which I definitely won't buy again...but see for yourself:
1 Maybelline FIT me! blush Medium Rose
Rebuy it? Maybe. Why? What I loved about this blush is that it is so decent and perfect for everyday life. If you're known for using too much blush you should really get this one as you can't go wrong with it. This may however be a negative point for you if you like more pigmented powder make-up. The reason why I'm not sure if I will rebuy it is that there are so many lovely blushes and so many more shades to discover so if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to share your favourite blush. Read a first review I had written about the blush here.
2 Manhattan Wake Up Concealer
Rebuy it? Yes. Why? This is my favourite concealer ever and I already rebought it several times. The shade is just right for my complexion and it's way cheaper than comparable products.
3 L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes
Rebuy it? Yes. Why? Another product I've rebought several times. I might try other mascaras from time to time but in the end I will always come back to this one. It gives your lashes so much length and makes them look really neat.
4 Maybelline Volum' Express Lift-Up
Rebuy it? Yes. Why? At first I wasn't convinced by this product (as you can read here). After using it several times the texture changed a bit and it turned out that this mascara gives the perfect natural looking false lash effect (quite contradictory but I hope you know what I try to describe).
5 Essence 24h hand protection balm winter edition (Gingerbread Chai Latte)
Rebuy it? Maybe. Why? I had all three balms from this winter edition and I have already used up the "Apple Cinnamon Punch" one before. Besides from this one smelling more artificial the review stays the same as here.
6 H&M Shimmer Body Lotion Silver
Rebuy it? No. Why? As you may see this lotion is far away from being used up but it has been laying in my bathroom for so long and I haven't used it in years so I decided to throw it away. I'm pretty sure it has expired as some of the water started separating from the oil. From the beginning this lotion had a pretty artificial smell and wasn't really moisturizing or so. Besides the fact that you won't be able to purchase this anymore I'm surely not going to buy anything similar at H&M because the quality didn't convince me.
7 Alverde Clear Facial Fluid with healing earth
Rebuy it? No. Why? As Alverde is a natural cosmetic brand I expected this cream not to cause my usual face perspiration but I have been highly disappointed. Also the healing earth didn't seem to have any effect on my skin as I couldn't notice an amelioration of my skin appearance.
8 Sephora Age Defy moisture cream
Rebuy it? Maybe. Why? I got these samples when shopping at Sephora earlier this month and I only tried them because I hadn't been testing much Sephora products before and wanted to know how they are like. This time I expected the perspiration of my facial skin (does anyone else know this phenomenon?) but it stayed away. That was a huge surprise as no moisturizer I used during the last two years felt that good on my skin. As I only used the cream for a few days I can't say anything about the anti age effect but I like the fact that the day moisturizer has SPF 15. At the moment I´m using coconut oil for my face but in case I want to switch back to a normal cream I will most probably buy this one. Oh and in case you have tried the Bebe More cream which they have been talking about a lot lately you might be interested in knowing that the Sephora moisturizer reminded me a lot of the Bebe creams both when it comes to texture and smell!
9 Bebe Young Care Holiday Skin moisturizer
Rebuy it? No. Why? This is another product that isn't really empty but which again I won't keep using. While I really liked the Bebe Holiday Skin body lotions, this facial moisturizer wasn't my cup of tea. I couldn't see any result, didn't dare to wear make-up after using it, didn't like the texture and of course the smell was really bad, too.
10 Yves Rocher Candied Mallows Perfumed Shower Gel
Rebuy it? No. Why? The smell was quite lovely but there are so many shower gels I want to try and still have in my bathroom waiting for me that I won't rebuy this one for the moment.
11 The Body Shop Rainforest Volume shampoo for fine hair
Rebuy it? No. Why? If you read this post you know that I was super unhappy with this shampoo and meanwhile didn't change my mind. (I found out that it only works like it should when I washed my hair two times in a row but honstely, who has time for that?)
So that was it for my super long empties post. I hope that I could give you some useful information on products that were interesting for you and could either introduce you to your next beauty favourite or protect you from your next mispurchase. What beauty products have you been loving (or hating) in October?
