Manic(ure) Monday: Glitter Ombré

As I spared my nails these last weeks and made them grow to a length they didn't reach in a long time, I thought it was time for a more elaborated nail art again, featuring glitter and blue, two of my favourite manicure elements! Blue glitter ombré manicure, anyone? Look at the following pics to get a step by step tutorial:

What I used:
Manhattan French Manicure Nailife nail hardener 52A
Essence Colour & Go 97 absolutely blue
Manhattan Quick Dry 60 seconds 710T
Kiko Glitter Nail Lacquer 407
Ebelin make-up sponge (to do the ombré look)

A few days ago I had seen such a glitter ombré manicure and I knew that I had to try it. As my nails are quite long at the moment I decided to add another shade, which was this dark blue. Do you prefer this crazy kind of manicure or are you more into the simple, girly manicures I did lately? What´s on your nails this week?

  12. I usually keep my nails short and simple. I'd like to try fun, colorful things but I can just never get it right.

  17. I love ombre nails but not a fan of designs overloading your hands. If I have a design or different color I prefer a feature on the one nail rather than all 5. Simple I guess, like my style!

  22. Ich finde das sieht echt toll aus, aber mir ist es einfach zu aufwändig. Ja ich bin zu faul. Deshalb bevorzuge ich die ganz einfache Maniküre. Momentan ein schlichtes weiß :D
