Manic(ure) Monday: The Golden Frame

Are you ready for a new manicure I have never tested before? Pastel and glitter junkies watch out, this manicure will be for you and for all of those who like a simple manicure with an interesting twist. Let´s start off:

Start off with the colour you want the "frame" of your nails to be.

Try to paint your nails to the very edges (I didn´t do that because at the beginning I wanted to do another manicure...)

Now take the top colour and only paint the middle of your nails. This works best with a covering nail polish that comes with a rounded brush like for example Essie.

What I used:
Manhattan Blogger Edition Mode Pilot 10M
Essie Navigate Her
(ring - DIY)

What do you think about the frame manicure? I´ve seen a lot of these lately so I thought I´d try it as well. It also looks great when you take the bright and the dark shade of a colour. Which colours would you use for this nail style and do you have any recommendations on which manicure I could try next? This can be a manicure you saw somewhere or just something that has been on your mind for a while, just tell me, it would love to try it for you!

  10. I really like this on you but I am not so sure about it for me. I am a real neat freak and a bit of a perfectionist (AKA 'old' and 'boring' lol) I would be thinking 'oh no I have forgotten to paint the edges' every time I looked at it lol. This is why I like reading blogs though, I like seeing new things and even if I daren't try them I love to see how they look on others. That ring is so cute by the way, I could dare wear that, even being as old and boring as I am! :-p hehehe
