Makeup I'm Currently Using

Today's post has been in my head for ages but now I'm finally writing it. I thought I would be a nice idea to make a "make-up I use" post in order to show you which products I trust in and use on a daily base. It should also be a little help for those of you who haven't found their ideal make-up products yet. We all know that out there millions of mascaras, foundations, eyeliners,... exist and finding the one that's best for you isn't always easy. It would also be really great if you could leave the names of your favourite products as a comment under this post, like this there will be the possibility for me and for you to discover new products of which we know that someone out there appreciates them.
For me the most important make-up tool is the mascara. If I had to give away all my make-up stuff except for one item, I would be keeping this one! And just because my mascara is so important to me, it was a really hard job finding the right one. I have tried tons of them, the Maybelline High Heel Volume, the Essence Black mania, the Yves Rocher Lash Pumping Mascara, the Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils,... Then I found and lost and regained this L'Oréal one and for the moment I'm sticking to it. It has a nice black colour and makes my lashes long and dense.

These three Fit me! products are just wow. I would have never thought I could like a liquid foundation until I found my number 115. The covering power of these is just amazing and they never make you feel like a circus clown. Furthermore they do really fit my skin perfectly while making me look really fresh. Read my review about the Fit me! products here.

The reason why I don't also own the Fit me! concealer is that I was already really satisfied with this Manhattan one. It's just perfect for the dark shadows under my eyes and I feel that the nuance number 1 also fits me quite well.

The eyeliner is nothing I use on a daily base but is still worth to be mentioned because it's my best friend when it comes to parties and special events. I did never dare to wear the famous black line until I found this ultra black, easy to use liquid eyeliner.

Last but not least this inherited eyeshadow. Yes you heard right, inherited! It belonged to my aunt until she decided to throw away half of her make-up (God knows why...)! I really love the golden powder and use it for nearly every party. I must admit though that I wouldn't buy this eyeshadow again out of three reasons:
1. YSL make-up is not worth the price (sorry to all those YSL fans out there)
2. I don't know if this exact duo is still sold
3. I've been craving for a Zoeva Warm Shimmer Palette for ages and I think that after getting it I won't need to buy another eyeshadow ever again...

So that was it, I hope you liked this kind of post and it was somehow helpful for you. Don´t forget to tell us what your favorites are and if you already tested one of the products I talked about now, don´t hesitate to share your experiences.

P.S.: The eyeshadow palette you can see in the pictures is a no name one my mum got me years ago. I'm quite satisfied with the colours but as I don't use that much eyeshadow it will probably never be empty...

  12. Yes, mascara is hands down the most important of all make-up =)
My favorite was Shu Uemura the basic, for awhile but I heard they changed the formula, so I'm not sure if it's still as good. Btw, thanks for following my blog =) Following you right back!

  18. You seem to be a fan of Maybelline. So do I. The best mascara ever (in my opinion) is Great Lash. I'm living in Belgium (where you can't buy it anymore) but I'm driving to the Netherlands to buy one.
