As you might know I'm hosting a nice giveaway at the moment and you can gain one entry for telling me why you read my blog. Now a lot of people already told me that they come back for my DIYs which of course I appreciate a lot and that´s also why today I have another DIY for you. I found this cute little tutorial over at one of my all time favourite blogs A Beautiful Mess and it's about making tea bags, the perfect present for all tea lovers. As my mum is one of these tea lovers and as it was her birthday (yes, her birthday, too!) last Monday I decided to make them for her:
What you'll need:
1. sewing machine
2. loose tea leaves
3. coffee filters (try to find some that are quite porous)
4. teaspoon
5. pen
6. scissors
7. stapler or sticky tape
9. a sheet of nice paper

9. a sheet of nice paper
cut 2 rectangles out of the coffee filters
sew them on 3 sides
fill them with the tea, sew the remaining side and leave a longer piece of yarn
cut a heart out of the paper and stick it to the yarn
enjoy your tea
I hope you liked this DIY, don't forget to tell me how your tea bags turned out and also make sure to check A Beautiful Mess, it's definately worth it!

Great DIY! I love the idea that you work with a sewing machine (I have no idea how they work). I'm also impressed that you studied Swedish! A fairly unusual choice and I like it. xo

What a simple yet utterly adorable idea! Definitely going to try this for my tea-loving friends, and perhaps switch it up a little by cutting out different shapes for them in lieu of hearts. Thank you so much for posting this cute DIY. :)
